Revelan nominados de los VMA 2011

El día de hoy se han revelado las nominaciones a los Premios MTV Video Music Awards 2011, premiación anual que galardona a los artistas que son incluidos en la programación y rotación del canal MTV.

Para la edición 2011, Katy Perry ha sido la artista con más nominaciones este año, sumando nueve nominaciones, incluyendo video del año, video femenino y video pop. En la escala de nominaciones le siguio la cantautora británica Adele, quien ha arrasado en los conteos de popularidad y de ventas de discos en Reino Unido y Estados Unidos.

Por otro lado la legendaria agrupación Beastie Boys se perfila con dos nominaciones, incluyendo vídeo del año, mientras que la banda revelación Foster The People también se ha posicionado con dos nominaciones. Por otro lado Manchester Orchestra ha obtenido doble nominación mientras que Chromeo, The Black Keys, Cage The Elephant han cosechado una nominación.
